Adams Rite Maximum Security MS® deadlocks and related hardware provide reliable security solutions for narrow stile aluminum, hollow metal and wood door applications.

Since 1955 the feature-rich, industry relevant MS deadlocks have helped establish Adams Rite as the Aluminum Hardware Authority and are the foundation for the industry standard MS Prep. 

Our selection of mechanical locks are available in straightbolt, hookbolt and ANSI prep options that provide maximum security for sliding and swinging doors in new construction, aftermarket and retrofit applications in a wide range of commercial and institutional applications.

 

MS® Maximum Security Deadlock Solutions:

MS1850S Series MS® Deadlock:

  • The original industry standard Maximum Security deadlock of the narrow stile aluminum door world. The over-center MS locking action is designed to defeat forced entry. 
    • MS1850S: with a straight bolt for swinging doors 
    • MS1850S-X5X: with a hookbolt for sliding doors. The hook shape of the bolt resists parting motion of sliding door & jamb.

MS1950P Series MS® Deadlock:

  • A high performance, full stainless steel deadlock with a 3" laminated stainless steel bolt and enhanced security features. Ideal for high-use applications. Stainless steel components provides added rust resistance for high humidity and coastal environments
    • MS1950P: with a straight bolt for swinging doors 
    • MS1950P-X5X: with a hookbolt for sliding doors. The hook shape of the bolt resists parting motion of sliding door & jamb.

MS+1890 Series MS® Deadlock/Deadlatch:

  • Dual deadlock/deadlatch to provide a maximum security traffic managmenet during and after business hours. 
    • Deadlock for unrestricted entry and exit during business hours
    • Handle operated deadlatch for exit-only traffic after closing
    • With an MS hookbolt for overnight lockup
